Actress Jeri Ryan, known for starring in Star Trek: Voyager from 1997.
Initially, his costume was a silver jumpsuit with a high collar (which has become iconic).
However, after only a few episodes, the costume was replaced with a two-tone blue outfit with a scooped collar.
And for the rest of the series, this blue outfit alternated with a brown outfit, and a purple/plum colored outfit.

Note the change in collar.
The story goes that while filming scenes in the original silver outfit, Jeri Ryan kept fainting. And what do you do when someone faints? You loosen their collar so they can breathe.
It turned out that his fainting spells were caused by the hot studio lights, his super-tight suit, and a seam in the high collar pressing against his carotid artery.
