This film contains 3 main characters:
The villain is undoubtedly Anton Chigurh, a fascinating and terrifying psychopathic hitman:
The good guy is the aging policeman with puppy dog eyes, Ed.
And the other nice guy who’s a little less nice is Llewelyn:
The good guy and the bad guy will never meet. Anton Chigurh probably doesn’t even know who is chasing him. He who should be the image of the law is insignificant to him.
And even the two who are chasing each other, Anton Chigurh and Llewellyn, will barely notice, furtively, in the middle of the night and from afar.
Some hated the movie for this reason, especially since the ending, which I won’t reveal, is frustrating compared to standard cop movies. I loved being caught off guard like this.
